Although paid the same in most areas, many hospitals are encouraging all of their existing RN Is to complete their bachelor’s degree. Nurses are paid well for the amount of education they must attain and can have very flexible schedules although any registered nurse will not contest of the rigor and responsibility of his or her job.
High Level Practice
For those who seek more responsibility and higher levels of pay, mid-level practitioner and medical doctor degrees may be the best option. However, with mid-level and doctorate degrees, one should expect long hours of study and competitive schooling.
